What does brain-based mean? Around here, we love the brain. We operate from a perspective that the brain and nervous system control everything and that we can have an immense impact on neurological function, and thus, optimal health. Our assessments, treatments, and care plans are all custom designed based on your unique nervous system. For example, your child may not have yet developed good neurological integrity and can't handle certain combinations of techniques in an appointment. Or may not be neurologically ready for a revision. We would work with you to improve neurological integrity with our adjustments and neuro-sensory exercises. Viewing patients through a brain-based lens means resolving concerns at root cause.
How do I establish care? If you're a new patient, we'd love to get to know you! You can use our online scheduler to make a new patient appointment or if you prefer to call us at 320-761-1666, we'll get you set up with the appropriate type of appointment.
I suspect my baby has a tongue tie. What should I do? If you don't have established care, please book a new pediatric patient appointment and we'd be happy to assess functionality of your child's mouth and tongue. If you have already establised care, please book a TOTs specific appointment for an evaluation and discussion of options.
What's the best way to cancel or reschedule an appointment? If you would like to cancel or reschedule ahead of 24 hours in advance, you should be able to do this from within your profile on Jane, our online scheduler. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please call 320-761-1666 (leave a message if no answer) and know you may be subject to our cancelation fee.
Are you going to expect me to commit to frequent appointments for several months?
What is your cancelation policy? We require 24+ hour notice of cancelation so we can fill your spot with someone from our waiting list. Please do your best to be considerate, recognizing that frequent cancelations and re-scheduling affects the other families we care for. If you cancel within 24 hours, there will be a 50% appointment fee charged to your card on file. In the event of labor, we will not hold you to this policy.
